The Artwork
At Art Debutant all submitted work is carefully reviewed. You take your art seriously and so do we. To be considered for Art Debutant, you must either be currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, an art related program or have a serious and ongoing art practice. Submission is free for the first 100 artists, and then month-to-month at $8*, 6 months at $35* or 1 year at $50*.
Membership
An Art Debutant membership gives each artist their own gallery page within the website; which will be integrated with a custom flash url. Please note we do not accept all work. We are a curated, advertisement free gallery and want to maintain a high standard as this most benefits our members. Because of this, if you are not accepted the first round, you can re-submit new work every month of your membership for consideration. We will be sending you a link via email to remind you to upload new artwork each month.
Exposure
Art Debutant believes it is important to give each artist the exposure they deserve. We will do our part to put your work in various places: Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest, blog, etc… so that everyone gets visibility and the opportunity to be found by those who peruse the internet. We also make sure that each artist receives time on the Art Debutant main page, as well as the chance to be featured in one of our local art events, our news section, Coffee Talk (interviews), or any future outlets we create. We will be sending you Google Analytics each month so you can see how many visitors are hitting your AD website and monitor your popularity. We will also be filtering emails for AD artists in order to keep this site professional. Should someone want to contact you about buying, we will make sure you will be informed and we will do this for free (no commission). We want you to succeed and will do everything we can to make sure your art gets exposure and hopefully sold!
Group Effort
Even though we will do our best to share the artwork of AD artists, we will need your help. As a local online art community, we believe in the power of many. The more you share your site and expose others to Art Debutant, the better it is for everyone. Founded by a group of artists, we want to maintain the mission of helping emerging artists, and will need your help to drive traffic and potential buyers to the site.
A quick note about our team
We have a panel of five curators that will review your submission. We strive to maintain anonymity of our curators in order to keep them impartial in their decision. Once accepted, we will send you an email with all necessary information. We look forward to growing with you, and we invite you to join our community!
